Center for Solace invites the community to Dance for Solace, its seasonal early evening dance party fundraiser, on Thursday, December 3, from 6:00–8:00 pm at Saxtons Distillery (155 Chickering Drive, Brattleboro) and dance your way into winter.
Shake into winter. Move your body. Be home by 9.
This winter edition brings back DJ Mālama to spin a high-energy set of varied music guaranteed to keep the floor moving and the spirits soaring. Attendees can shake off whatever is weighing on them in a joyful, welcoming space.
The dance floor is open to everyone and intentionally centers women, queer, trans, and nonbinary community members—because everyone deserves a safe place to exhale, move, and feel strong.
For those who want to dress the part, Center for Solace's beloved thrift store, Experienced Goods, will feature a special rack of dance party threads.
Admission is $15–$40 in advance (link TBA) or at the door, with all proceeds benefiting Center for Solace’s many free programs. A cash bar will also be available.
The mission of Center for Solace is to offer services and support — free of charge — for serious illness, hospice, and grief, while engaging our community in conversations about mortality and life. In every season, the organization believes in creating spaces for both reflection and joy.
