Some of the most engaging and interesting conversations happen around a kitchen table. Staff and volunteers with knowledge and experience on the topic of After Death Care will be sitting around the table with participants and together we will talk in a supportive and congenial atmosphere.

Annual Remembrance Ceremony

Annual Service of Remembrance at our Memorial Garden in Living Memorial Park. All are welcome to join in a ceremony honoring those who have died this past year. Our beloved Hallowell Singers will sing a few songs, then we will plant annuals in the garden and create rock markers for loved ones.

Crêpe Night

Crêpe Night

Join us at Scott Farm in Dummerston for Crêpe Night to benefit Center for Solace! The event runs from 5:30-7:30pm and tickets are $20 for adults or $10 for children under 12. Each ticket comes with a savory supper crêpe (galette), sweet dessert crêpe, and side salad. Drinks are available for purchase.

Special events play an important role in building community, raising awareness about our programs, and generating needed funds. We are very grateful to the many volunteers and sponsors who help make all of our events possible.

Each year Brattleboro area Hospice holds one special fundraising event that is a very special experience for our local community. In the past we have held concerts, speakers, auctions, a comedy show, a town-wide scavenger hunt, and even a fashion show! All proceeds from these events go directly to funding our programs so they remain free of charge for the community.
