Speak Up: Empowering Patients in Healthcare

  • Brooks Memorial Library Community Room 224 Main St Brattleboro, VT 05301 United States (map)

Presented by Andi Waisman, M.S., Ed., a dedicated health educator and former Healthy Living Program Manager at LifePath, Inc., this workshop aims to empower individuals with chronic conditions. Participants will explore the critical role of self-advocacy in the healthcare process, as well as strategies to enhance communication with medical providers.

Attendees will learn valuable skills for enhancing interactions with their healthcare providers and hear inspiring success stories from fellow community members. By supporting one another, participants will gain tools to navigate the healthcare system more effectively and advocate for their needs.

The workshop is free and open to the public, aiming to foster a supportive environment for individuals seeking to take charge of their health.
