Advanced Care Planning Volunteers Needed!

2026 ADVANCE CARE PLANNING (ACP) VOLUNTEER TRAINING 

Do you enjoy helping people? Would you like to support them in exploring what's most important in their lives? 

Come learn about the vital difference an Advance Directive can make, and how you can help community members preserve their voice if they're unable to speak for themselves in a medical emergency. 

We'll train and then mentor you in empowering others to clarify their end-of-life wishes, communicate them to loved ones and health care providers, and put their plans in writing. Our trained volunteers help people explore one essential question: 

What does living well really mean to each of us when faced with a major health challenge? 

Feedback from an ACP client: "I thought it would get me down, but it got me in a better mood! I'm really surprised. This talking all about it is liberating!"

The training is two Thursdays:
