Become a Sponsor
Center for Solace receives no federal or state funding. While this allows us flexibility in our programming, it requires us to raise 40% of our budget through community fundraising. To fund our vital free programs this year, we are hosting two incredible fundraising initiatives designed to bring lightness, music, and celebration to our neighbors: our high-energy Dance for Solace seasonal dance party series, and The Gospel Connection with Suzanne Buell concert at the Latchis Theatre. We are seeking sponsorships to fund these two different events. Please read on to learn about each event and its sponsorship levels. Your support will help ensure our programs of support can continue at no cost to our clients.

The Gospel Connection with Suzanne Buell
Don’t miss a stunning, high-energy musical experience that bridges history and harmony! Led by world-class vocalist Suzanne Buell, The Gospel Connection is a 6-piece band that delivers a powerful journey through traditional spirituals, stirring gospel classics, and the deeply moving music that defined the Civil Rights movement.
Far more than a traditional concert, the group masterfully explores the musical lineage connecting historic gospel roots to contemporary pop, soul, and Americana artists. Find yourself moving, dancing, and singing along to vibrant arrangements of music popularized by legendary icons like Mavis Staples, Aretha Franklin, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Levon Helm, Paul Simon, and more.
This show will move your feet and lift your spirit!
We expect an audience of up to 500 people.

Dance for Solace: Seasonal Dance Parties
Who said dance parties had to be late night events? We have created a welcoming space where people of all ages can come and shake off whatever is weighing them down.
Welcome in the Seasons. Move your Body. Be Home by 9.
The dance floor is open to everyone and intentionally centers women, queer, trans, and nonbinary community members—because everyone deserves a safe place to exhale, move, and feel strong.
For those who want to dress the part, Center for Solace's beloved thrift store, Experienced Goods, will feature a special rack of themed threads for those who wish to dress to impress.
Upcoming Dates: December 3, April 2 (2027)
These events have brought in anywhere from 50-75 people (with room for more).
Benefits of Sponsorship
In a time of such unrest and struggle, our events are intended to be community-oriented, fun, and uplifting, bringing people to celebrate being alive together in this time and place.
By becoming a sponsor, you aren't just funding an event; you are directly ensuring that our community continues to have a dignified, compassionate safety net during life’s most difficult moments. Your partnership brings human connection where it is needed most, while keeping our essential services completely accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial means.
Sponsoring these events offers your business an exceptional opportunity to align with a trusted local non-profit while gaining meaningful visibility. Depending on your sponsorship level, your brand will benefit from digital promotion, local press coverage, and direct recognition in front of hundreds of engaged community members. Join us in celebrating life, supporting healing, and keeping our services free for all.
